Jeffrey Aaron Ayala was born in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating high school, he attended The University of North Texas where he obtained a BA in RTVF. From there he moved to Austin where he worked for Inks Productions as a shooter/producer/editor. After two years, he briefly moved into the freelance world and wound up back in Dallas in late 2004. In early 2005 he took a staff job at Sugar Film Production where he worked as a "jack of all trades" on many high end national television commercials.

Since mid 2006, Jeff has been on staff as a film/video editor at Post Asylum where he has garnered multiple awards for a variety of projects ranging from regional and national television spots as well as feature documentaries and industrials. Jeff has also directed and edited numerous short films over the years.
